2am again. Got to figure out a way to not do this, or I’ll be walking wounded next week.
Normally, a week where the kids are home + I only have myself to get ready is a pleasant change. Not this time; not sure why.

Heading home 1 hour later than planned, having eaten no lunch. Fantastico.
Just realized I’m carrying a terabyte of storage around with me today.
So, so hard to resist overwhelming schadenfreude. Welcome to the social! http://tr.im/2s52
Feeling full and sleepy. Hope I make it to midnight.
Jangled and fuming. Not enough sleep last night, nerves are on edge.

Our A/C guy’s assistant (who looks like Axl Rose) is on the N train. Would say hello if I remembered his name. Can’t call him ‘Axl.’ :-(
Darn it, I thought @dropio enterprise plans were already available. Can’t wait — need 20 GB for Macworld! :-)

Email run rate for 2008: about 15K per quarter. Sheesh.
Now it begins. Mom is on Facebook.
Hmm. @macsamurai wants me to wear this at Macworld http://tr.im/2q2c — I’m thinking “No way.”
Ooogh. Forgot my camera, can’t tape show! http://mchammerstein.com
Thanks to @coffeewithian, pressure to be fascinating is at Threat Level: Plaid. (whoop whoop)

That was a close one. With all the holidays this time of year, it’s the exception when alternate side parking IS in force!
This headache and I need to part ways soon.
Walked by a store window in Times Square that was 70% full of iPod knockoffs.

Sure, guy, take my window seat while I’m using the restroom. Why should I mind? #jagoff
futile, adj.: Searching for electrical outlet at Katonah Metro-North station.
Somewhere in my tiny monkey brain, “65F in NYC” translated to “Visit northern Westchester, sans jacket, sit on train platform.” Brr.
No AC on Metro-North trains. Forgot to charge MBP last night. Left iPod at home. Didn’t eat lunch. Full-on first-world fail.
Wish I could republish the email I just got. Delightfully batty.
Just got a NetSol offer on geekparent.com. Hmm.
Foggy night in Park Slope. Just drove back from Westchester, dinner now with @heidihoover
Hmm. Found the restaurant (Canaille), I’m on time and it’s not crowded. Now where is my spouse?
Canaille in Brooklyn: excellent French/Provencal food, colorful service (owner is chatty and a little forgetful). 8.5/10

Since it buzzes my phone, wife is DM’ing me from the other room to get my attention. This passive aggression will not stand. :-)
Angry listener is unsubscribing from TUAW podcast recorded 12/21 because we failed to say “Merry Christmas.” AYFKMWTS?
Wachovia just sent @heidihoover an invite for an “LGBT Financial Checkup.” Oops!
Wow, we left Lancaster just in time. Well, 11 hours ahead of time, but still.
Checking out Twitterslurp. http://github.com/whoisjake/twitterslurp/tree/master
Sigh. Reader question “Why does www.next.com redirect to apple.com?” A: You’re new around here, aren’t you?
Just sent a little money to Jimmy Wales.
Staten Island traffic is not wearing on us particularly well.
Just got Keith Ferrazzi’s book as a gift. Forgot it was on my wish list. Good timing!
Mentally prioritizing the next seven days. Leaving for SF next Saturday, too much to do and not enough time.
Leafing through The Star Wars Cookbook. “Like the Death Star, making popcorn balls can be very dangerous.” Not exactly like that, no.
Packing up to head to Lancaster, then home.
