Hrm. Thinking now that having my question read verbatim on a 400-person conference call might have not been the best idea.
I still think “Are you sure you want to quit?” was the right headline… http://tinyurl.com/5uywg6

Last days to take advantage of office’s pool table… People are playing for money now.
Dreamed I met Steve Jobs. He was wearing a blue motorcycle jacket and limping. Tried to tell him about @coryb’s 7 MBPs, but woke up.
Idly wondering what happened to .Mac premium content (GarageBand loops, etc.) in the MobileMe transition. Doesn’t seem to be there.

Heading home ahead of the rain. I hope.
Delta btwn 3pc Popeye’s “chicken” and “dinner” is $2, but side dish (only diff) is $1.50. Related: I need to quit eating at Popeye’s.
I left my iPod in El Segundo. Or, more likely, on the dining room table.
Degree antiperspirant sponsorship of Eureka is blatant — and hilarious. Nice that they acknowledge it in the show.
Keeping track of @Ambersmirnow + @urbanape’s baby progress today. Man, if there had been Twitter when our #2 was born…
Great show tonight. Hope the video is passable. Bedtime now.
Coming up on showtime. 3 weeks off… We’ll see. http://mchammerstein.com

Thanks to @woot selling a fax AIO device, I was reminded that I need to send a fax for @heidihoover. I need a new system.

Seriously, Heathrow Terminal 3 is a pit. Why does AA always get the crappy gates? It’s a mystery.
Heathrow T5: sleek and modern. T3: goofy layout, smells like tea and sweatsocks.
Boarding BA 909 now. Next stop, London Heathrow.
On the bus, transfer from T5 to T3 at Heathrow. Had to hit the flight attendant call button to handle a 3yo bathroom emergency on tarmac.
AA 141 LHR-JFK is about ready to go. Extra seat across and ‘toon Network on the seatbacks; we’re set. Tweetya on the other side of the pond.
At JFK. Flight OK save a 10-minute screaming fit that had other passengers asking what was wrong. (Nothing — she hates waking up.)
Ah, JFK. Your oppressive humidity, pricey/broken luggage carts and lack of cabs remind me that I am home.
Interesting culinary language hiccup: we didn’t know what “Strauss” meant, aside from “bunch.” It also means “ostrich.” Nom nom nom.
In Offenbach at “the Lounge,” formerly “Hemingway Lounge” until the estate called to say “Um, WTF?” Still has themed menu and drinks.
There is a Berlin bed store (etage7.de) that sells a bed called — no kidding — Jailhouse Fuck. Comes with handcuffs.
Now ice cream at La Gelateria Piccolo. Made on the premises and extremely yummy. Try the apricot or blueberry.
OK, the Judas pizza is SPICY. Hot pepperoni, paprika, hot salami. Perhaps a dammnation thing? http://tinyurl.com/6cgxw8
Thai in #Berlin — Chai Yo, Skalitzer Str. 95A. Food is awesome, +1 for street name that sounds like a ska band.
Last night in #Berlin. Surprisingly good Thai food in Kreuzberg. Host looks too much like Todt from “Raiders.”
We made the mistake of going shopping. Cannot get out of this city.
Absolutely stunning rainbow 25 miles east of Frankfurt. Horizon to horizon, and crazy bright.
I stand corrected by @DonGomez — “Schwammkopf” is “Sponge head.”
10-minute wait for gas, followed by a nigh-empty travel plaza 3 klicks down the road. Argh!
I’m lugging baggage, kids watching Spongebob auf Deutsch, @heidihoover fetching the car. Cold and rainy in #Berlin.
Sore throat and headache. Not the ideal for last morning in Berlin, but somehow fitting.
A little sorry to be missing Obama speech/rally in Berlin on 7/24. It’s going to be insane.
In Germany, he’s Spongebob Schwammkopf (swimming head), probably because “QuadratenHose” doesn’t rhyme.
